NC SSPC Training Series
The NC SSPC, led by the UNC-CH Science Policy Advocacy Group, NC State Science Policy Pack, and UNCG Spartans for Science and Policy, is hosting a Science Policy Certificate Series for the 2020 – 2021 academic year! Each group will be hosting a number of online seminars and workshops throughout the year, open to any student or postdoc of a NC College or University.
These events will cover a broad range of science policy topics, from the basics of what is science policy and the state of science policy in different fields, to how to engage with your elected officials! To earn the certificate, participants will have to attend 5 seminars and 3 workshops by July 2021 and submit a brief summary of each event attended. On average, 2 events will be offered per month.
First, register at this link for the policy training series.
Then, submit a summary to receive credit after each event.
